In the summer of 2006 we decided to open a Guest
Book for Portugal Villa Holiday. These pages contain extracts of client
comments since that date.
For those of you who have written in French, Spanish, German, Portuguese and Russian - I hope that I have spelt everything correctly and it all makes sense!
References to "Bobi" means Bobi Dog our friendly, personal, lake tour guide who loves to walk with guests. Bobi was found after being abandoned by the lake at the age of 4 weeks in May 2004. He is a bit naughty and tends to "steal" socks and shoes when left unattended on the villa verandah - hence the references to socks and shoes in the comments!
We now have an additional member of the family called Cleo who was born at the end of September 2009.
We had a very good time in the villa. The scenery is amazing and kept me going with my half term revision. James and I loved the pool and had fun with the cricket and badminton sets.
Thanks, Zara Weldon – Staffordshire
A splendid stay in a splendid location.
Perfect for half term break with a spot of pre-exam revising!
The villa is spotless and well equipped. The bathrooms (my judge of quality and cleanliness) are the best I've seen in a long time!
The welcome pack – amazing, everything we needed to start us off.
Sunloungers, plenty of outdoor seating, pool toys for the kids and a fully stocked library.
What more could you ask for
We'll be back
The Weldon Family – Staffordshire
We had a lovely time in your villa
We enjoyed the place and environment very much
The children loved the swimming pool, the dogs and the big garden.
We had a great rest at this quiet location. The location is really beautiful even after the fires
We made nice walks in the surroundings and nice trips to Coimbra, Arganil, Serra da Estrela, Porto, Lisbon and Fatima.
Thank you for your hospitality.
The Schuhmacher Family – Netherlands
Thank you for two wonderful weeks. We had a lovely time at the villa and in the local area. Lin and Geoff were great hosts and provided good entertainment.

I had a lovely time here even though my grandad beat me at table football

Dear Linda and Geoff
Thank you for such a lovely stay in Portugal. It was nice to see you and the dogs again.
Keiran Barlow – UK
Time flies when you are having fun.
We cannot believe one week comes already to the end. We all enjoyed it here very much
Beautiful view over the river, with the birds circling around wow!
Can stay sitting here for hours. So nice and quiet
The house is super. Our boys loved the swimming pool – of course – the soccer table game and all the other entertainment.
We made nice trips and walks (Coimbra, Gois), Arganil for dinner, circuit do Acores up to Piodao and then enjoyed the swimming pool to cool down.
We took a trip on the river in the rowing boat.
A pity we could not stay for 2 weeks. Thanks Linda for the chats and hospitality.
Obrigado, obrigado, obrigado..... thank you, thank you, thank you.
Ilse, Jurgen and Family – Belgium
Hello Linda, Geoff and other visitors
We have been able to enjoy this quietly located villa for 2 weeks.
The first week we did not get too hot and had a little sun
We then made several trips and walked a little in the area
The second week it was hotter and we enjoyed the pool and occasionally made a trip by car
In Arganil you can also enjoy good food for a good price
Thanks to Linda and Geoff for this wonderful holiday
Cobi and Mike – Netherlands
We had a lovely warm welcome from Linda and Geoff and the villa and scenery surpassed all of our expectations
We’ve all had a fabulous stay. There is so much to do and see in the area. We particularly enjoyed the fishing and rowing down the river
The pool was “refreshing” and the BBQ area a great place to eat, relax and listen to the chime of the village clock while the aromatic heady scents of the eucalyptus and pine filled the area
The villa is superbly equipped and the welcome pack on arrival was fantastic.
Great to have the fire in the evening
Thank you for sharing your wonderful piece of paradise.
Clare, Andy and Matthew
Thank you so much for a wonderful stay – far too short!
Fantastic to finally see the place and just sorry its taken so long for us to get out here
Best of all, I got to spend some quality time with my bro! Loved going out on the bikes together – again - something we should have done ages ago
You’ve created something very special out of nothing here – long may it continue
We must definitely come again soon…. Perhaps for a bit of off road riding?!!
Lots of love

Our third stay at the villa has been just as good as the previous times.
This time we travelled via Lisbon which is a wonderful city to visit.
The villa is hard to beat for peace and relaxation and we all feel refreshed after our holiday.
We've eaten out a number of times and found the food very good with friendly service.
Everything remains very good value for money, despite the recent fall in the value of sterling.
Thanks to Linda and Geoff for looking after us so well.

Thank you very much for your hospitality. We enjoyed the house, the pool and, of course, the fantastic views.
During our stay it was very warm so we found refreshment in the pool.
We enjoyed our visit to Coimbra, the lovely gardens and falls of Bucaco and the historic village of Fajao.
Hein and Marya, The Netherlands
Thanks so much for a peaceful and relaxing holiday.
The house had all we needed and the position over the water and among the hillside trees was spectacular.
We really appreciated the quiet and peacefulness.
Thank you especially for launching the rowing boat – we used it early in the mornings when the water was very still and the air cool – magical!
We had hot weather and mainly stayed at the house swimming and reading.
Coimbra – had lunch near the old Cathedral – was lovely; Conimbriga roman ruins were a little gem and we visited on a cool morning.
Otherwise, it was feet up, watch the red kites soaring and diving, the birds and the butterflies as they went by.
Wonderful – thank you!
Carol and Robin
I spent a fine time at Casa da Roda with my husband Roel and my two youngest sons Nils (23) and Gunnar (21).
We all agree that this holiday has deepened our love for Portugal, especially for this region of the beautiful country.
Here's what we did during our stay:
Enjoying the lake – by walking along it (usually me on my own in the morning when the others were still sleeping), by swimming in it, by rowing on it in our inflatable canoe, or just by taking in the spectacular view from the terrace and pool.
Reading (me and Nils – although not as much as we had expected because there were so many other nice things to do)
Visiting the National Forest of Bucaco – perfect for a shady walk
Driving to the sea near Mira – lovely sand beach and nice for cooling down a bit
We tried our kite but unfortunately there wasn't enough wind
Driving to Coimbra – where we visited the Biblioteca and the Ceremonial Hall of the University. Afterwards drinks on the terrace (we love the Portuguese coffee) and later dinner on a terrace (we love the Portuguese wine and beer!).
Finally, we ended up on a terrace watching the football game between Portugal and Wales – of course won by Portugal! What a lovely evening
Having drinks at the Theatre cafe in Arganil – we were also there during the football game France v Germany, so that Gunnar could watch the game. Nils could chat with his girlfriend (free wifi) while Roel and I strolled through the streets of Arganil
Exploring the region by car – its beauty was once again confirmed
Last but not least – relaxing, relaxing and relaxing and enjoying each others' company
Lin and Geoff are very hospitable and helpful and so no-nonsense. They shared with us what must be one of the region's best kept secrets – namely lunch at Hotel Rural in Pombeiro da Beira – Euros 7.50 for a 3 course lunch plus drinks and coffee. One leaves the cafe with the uneasy feeling of not having paid enough for such quality, even after tipping generously!
Our week staying here has been a delight
Eating out on the terrace every night, admiring the view and watching the wildlife is the perfect end to a lovely day.
The house is so clean and tidy with everything we needed. Thank you so much for the welcome pack.
We visited Coimbra to see the University and its unique library, Bucaco for the peace and quiet and the great monasteries at Batalha and Tomar.
The drives over the mountains were awesome especially our trip to the car/bike and art museum at Caramulo – what a find!
The pool was my great treat, especially with the salt water treatment rather than chlorine. A must for me at the start and end of the day.
Of course, none of this would happen without the discrete and kind care of Geoff and Lin.
Lin certainly made it a special holiday to treasure and remember.
Anne and Al, UK
Thank you so much for your lovely house with this fantastic view of the lake
The welcome package is great and we were very glad with the products
Coimbra is a wonderful City to see with a welcoming atmosphere
Arganil is great for food shopping
Castelo Branco was a wonderful drive with fantastic scenery on the way. However, the town itself did not impress, other than the Bishop's Garden
If you love being in the woods and a quiet environment you need to stay in this house
You both did a great job by creating all of this
Willem, Corry and Ine, The Netherlands
We came looking for peace and quiet and found them in Geoff and Linda's most beautiful house.
What a joy to wake up and to hear songbirds and nothing else
The four legged hosts (Bobi and Cleo) were very friendly and came to visit us often
We went to:
Arganil to do shopping, bar-hopping and once went for dinner at La Tasquinta near the pedestrianed street
Coimbra to marvel at the old University and to wander around the shopping district
Aldeia das Dez – a lovely village at about an hour's drive from the villa
Piodao – a most remarkable mountain village in the Serrra da Estrela mountains – an hour and a half drive from the villa but well worth the effort.
Kris and Krist, Belgium
This was our third visit, we love it so much. The villa is very secluded and has everything there to enjoy. There is a log fire for chilly evenings, fabulous views, a local hotel that serves good food, bikes, boats, local horse riding and beautiful places to walk. The owners, Geoff & Lin, are out of sight but on hand if you need them. They are friendly and incredibly helpful, and really made sure we had a wonderful week there. It's a great place for adults or for families alike. The motor cycle rides along those twisty, mountainous roads were breathtaking! I'm sure we will be back.
Our little piece of heaven on earth that is Casa da Roda did not disappoint
This was our EIGHTH visit and we enjoyed it as much as ever
Thanks Lin and Geoff for your company and your thoughtfulness in making our stay so wonderful. Lovely to have BobiDog and Cleo to take Barry for his afternoon walks to “the prom”
Sad to be leaving today but already planning next year’s visit
Much love to you both
Mary and Barry Barlow
We have stayed at this wonderful property several times now and each time the beauty of the area hits us. The rolling hills and terraced valleys, the scented smells in the fresh air, the stillness and silence. You drive down a well maintained track to the villa where you are warmly met by the owners Geoff and Linn, who spare no effort to make your stay faultless, The first glimpse of the villa, which is set on top of a mature wooded terraced valley that leads down to the lake edge, is beautiful. When you walk into the villa you will find an uncluttered, simply furnished, well stocked and spotlessly clean space. As you walk into the large kitchen area you find a large bowl of fruit sitting on top of a long dining table. At the far end of the kitchen you open double doors that lead onto the veranda and the stunning view of the valley and lake, and again the silence and tranquillity hit you. To wake up in the morning and sit here with your cup of tea, listening to the birds and breathing in the oh so fresh air, is the greatest way to start any day. You will probably be visited as you sit there by Bob and Cleo,,Geoff and Lin's dogs, who come and say hello gently and are more than happy to just sit there with you looking over the view. As you walk round the veranda to the other side you will find the pool/sunbathing area which has full sun for most of the day. Geoff and Lin have provided tools for enjoyment for your stay, various types of boats for the lake, bikes, fishing rods and pool toys for adults and children!. They are always on hand if you need them as their little house is the other side of the valley although you wouldn't know it as it is well hidden by trees. We never tire of the scenery with so much wild life and bird song,( I woke one night to the wonderful song of a nightjar), and always find it so hard to leave. There is no way that you cannot feel re-invigorated after your stay here. Our only complaint? That we weren't there for a month!
Wij verbleven één week in Casa da Roda.
Elke and Steven De Clercq-Présiaux
This house is a little well hidden pearl. It is private and tranquil with a lovely view and lots of cozy spots in and out of the sun. Our children loved the gated pool, which was cleaned several times during the week, and I enjoyed daily walks/runs along the river..The house is well equipped and well maintained and more than lived up to our expectations. The owners Linda and Geoff were very kind and helpful with tips and good ideas for towns and places to visit. On the down side the house is a bit far from the nearest supermarket. About 15-20 minutes drive. But the village Arganil is very nice, so often we made a trip out of it. I would definitely recommend this house! It is among our top vacations so far. It was just a lovely and very easy vacation place. And the owners let us walk their two very friendly and playful dogs, which also made the house our childrens favourite so far.
A Beautiful Piece of Paradise
We arrived on Tuesday 16 September to be greeted very warmly with smiling faces of Geoff and Lin. The past 36 hours since our arrival in Portugal on the Saturday had been awful with us having to find somewhere else to stay
Words cannot express what they did to pull all the stops out to make their lovely place available for us. Our holiday could finally start
Excellent place, lovely views, swimming pool, fridge stocked, lovely people and, of course, to complete it all – BobiDog and Cleo
Because we had already got things planned we could not spend as much time as we would have liked to really appreciate Casa da Roda as it deserved. There are lots of lovely walks, rowing boat, fishing and even off road motorbikes
We were able to enjoy breakfasts and dinner on the terrace with the lovely view of the lake and the enjoyment of the pool – very welcome with our busy schedule
Thank you Lin and Geoff for making us feel so welcome – you have a lovely place and we will certainly recommend to our friends. Hopefully we can return sometime in the future
With all good wishes
Sandra & Jim Bloomfield
We spent a very relaxing two weeks with our 3 children in Casa Roda. Geoff and Lin couldn't have been more friendly & helpful, they were on hand if needed, otherwise not intrusive.
The property was perfect for us, very clean and the most amazing views. Plenty of different areas to sit in the sun or the shade and so quiet.
We found the location suited us, being quiet and secluded, but also handy for the shops in Arganil when needed, and day trips into the mountains, river beaches and surrounding areas.
Our children swam every day in the pool which was perfect for them, and we enjoyed barbecues most days, and walks down to the river.
A perfect relaxing holiday!
Lee and Clare Dennison
Had a wonderful time here at Casa da Roda
The peace and quiet and the fantastic views will stay with Dawn and I for a long, long time
We got out and about most days and would recommend a trip to Gois, Coimbra and up into the mountain.
It was my birthday while I was here and Geoff took Dawn and I up into the mountains which was delightful. Had a great meal with Goat and Wild Boar for Euros 30 so I would strongly recommend you ask Geoff for directions
We especially loved the valley with the Mondego river running through it and the river beaches
Thanks for a wonderful time and for sharing your little bit of paradise with us
John and Dawn Puggmur
This is our seventh time to visit Casa Da Roda so that must tell you something.
The villa is superb with all the facilities you would want. The swimming pool is ideal for floating around and relaxing. The views are superb across the hills down onto the river and lake.
The owners, Lin and Geoff, are in their house in the grounds, but cannot be seen, but are nearby should you need them. They are also a font of knowledge of the area, recommending places to see and places to eat.
A holiday here, is like stepping back in time, but with modern amenities at the villa. The locals are extremely welcoming and friendly and we have spent many an hour in the village cafe/bar with the locals.
All together, this is the ideal place to relax and chill out. I am now in the process of booking again for next year, I would recommend that you do the same, you will not be disappointed.
Mary and Barry Barlow
So easy at Casa da Roda and for the FIFTH visit!
Thanks to Linda and Geoff for everything (especially
laundry, Sunday’s chicken and the directions for Praia das Rochas, a funny
place with waves and games in the water)
And thanks to the French who came in July who gave very good advice for the wine

Had a lovely holiday at Casa da Roda –
beautiful, peaceful setting. Lin & Geoff were amazing – very
helpful in finding us things to do and showing us routes as we were
beginners at driving over here. Lin also helped us a lot when our
daughter was ill and took us to the hospital and translated for us
We had a lovely stay – found the village lovely – everyone very friendly especially when you greet the locals with “Bon Dia” – they are all lovely
We loved the yoga with Justine - lovely setting for it. Very relaxing but also catered for the individual so each person can take what they wish. Would definitely recommend – http://www.sweetyoga.com.
Not looking forward to returning to the stress of everyday life and it was a welcome and needed escape.
Thank you Lin and Geoff

This is the second time I’ve been to this villa and it was just as good as the first
I would say it was better!
We found lots of great places to eat – I tried chanfana (goat stew) for
the first time and it was delicious – I would recommend it to anyone.
This is an amazing country and an amazing villa. The pool is nice
because salt water is so much better than chlorine. The view of the
lake tops the whole of the villa off.
Thank you Linda and Geoff for being so friendly and nice to all of us and for helping to make this the best holiday ever!

We love this place – our second visit is just as good as the first
The villa and pool are superb and the view of the lake excellent
We ate out a few times and enjoyed all the restaurants – the best being
the Grelhada in Arganil – good traditional food and very friendly. The
Argus Café in Arganil is also good for coffee and cake.
Thanks to Linda and Geoff for making our stay comfortable – they’re
always on hand for advice without encroaching on one’s peace and quiet.
We hope to stay here again one day

We had a really nice time in this house – a magnificent view and lots of nice quiet evenings.
We went with our canoe on the lake, we swam every day in the beautiful clear and warm water
The children played around in the lake and the pool.
We did some sight seeing – we went to Coimbra, Luso, the national park
Bucaco, Gois, Pampilhosa and tried some Portuguese restaurants.
The supermarket in Arganil appeared to be very complete and even health food was available and fresh fish.
The public library in Coimbra was astonishing.
Our walks along the forest (and our jogging) kept us in shape. We love the area and hope to come back

Restful and quiet – you can be as busy or peaceful as you wish
Geoff and Lin are on hand to offer local advice and guidance should you require
Beautiful scenery, wildlife and nature – explored from the small dinghy on the lake
A well stocked book shelf and found one I have been meaning to read for 29 years “A Town Like Alice”
Hope to visit again for a guaranteed relaxation, peace and downtime break

Arrived on a lovely sunny day with 25C
Spent 2 glorious days by the pool –true heaven!
Our girls loved the beautiful gardens to explore, including the swinging chair hidden away under a shady oak – thanks Geoff!
Went to Coimbra including Portugal dos Pequenitos (little Portuguese
hours, etc for kids) and had a nice lunch in the old town.
Visited Conimbriga – extensive Roman ruins with amazingly complete mosaics. Great museum too.
Bucaco forest – lovely old hotel and grounds at centre with beautiful flowering wisteria.
Great place to unwind and relax. Beautiful part of Portugal!
Great friendly hosts and dogs. House is fantastic and we will miss our
first ever changing views of the water each day – magical experiences!

To the next lucky people to stay at this wonderful place:
Porto and Coimbra – brilliant cities
Gois – river beach, wacky little café with tables out in the river so fish can nibble your toes as you nibble your baguette!
Torre/Piodao – trip in the mountains which still had snow in June –
fabulous views. The slate village of Piodao was spooky on a misty rainy
Horse riding with Sandra and Mel
Got lost in Bucaco as the map from the tourist office was pretty
hopeless. Found a bonus in a windmill museum. Really friendly little
café here with views to the sea.
As far as the beaches of Aveiro, Costa Nova, Praia Mira were concerned,
perhaps we’re just a little early in the season as the towns were quiet
and the sea very cold!
But most of the time you’ll be at this fabulous villa. We’ve been
holidaying in villas for more than 10 years now and Geoff and Lin have
just got everything right
Perhaps its built on some magical meridian, or maybe it conforms with
some mystical Chinese architectural geometry – but if you don’t fall in
love with your partner all over again when you stay here – if your
children aren’t just the most beautiful things in the world – if this
place doesn’t make you realise how wonderful life is – then, you
probably need therapy (or a divorce lawyer!).
Thanks for everything Lin (and the absent Geoff)
Kirsten, Simon, Thomas and Amy Palmer
What a special place. As soon as we walked in and saw the view from the verandah, we were instantly “chilled”.
The view to the lake is absolutely stunning and one you would never grow tired of
The villa is superb with every attention to detail taken care of. It’s like home from home but better equipped!
The weather was a bit changeable this time of year but still warm enough for T shirts – end September/beginning October
Tomar is an absolute must for a visit. Without doubt, the best national
monument we’ve ever been to. Just Euros 6 to get in and real value for
money. Would go again and again if we could.
Bobi and Cleo were gorgeous and were both regular visitors – we were
tempted to leave our belongings behind and smuggle them into each of our
As our fortnight progressed the weather got worse – went to Piodao on a
rainy day – not the best of weather to visit a village made of slate and
granite but absolutely fascinating just the same – would like to go
again on a sunny day
Of all the places we have visited, we enjoyed going to Arganil the most.
The town is lovely with some quaint little gift shops spread around.
Don’t forget to look around the quiet back streets where there are some
hidden shops and café bars
We have had a lovely relaxing two weeks and are heading home to our own
menagerie tomorrow. We will definitely be coming back to see the dogs,
explore some more places and try our luck at fishing again – no luck
Thank you Geoff and Linda for creating such a lovely place to holiday, for giving us privacy but being there if we needed you
Thank you too to Bobi and Cleo – will always remember you two with fondness.

The house was perfect, spacious and built to make the very most of it's breathtaking views over the river. Nestled into the mountains, it is completely private.
The pool on the terrace also had the most amazing views....floating there in the warmth of the early evening after a full day, watching the river meander and the sun dance on the water, the colours of the mountains changing with the fading light reflected on its surface, was food for the soul.
The owners (Geoff and Linda) live on the land, which I believe is around 8 acres, but are entirely separate from the house....they are on hand if needed and absolutely nothing was too much trouble.
We swam in the river, went on long walks through woods wonderfully perfumed by the heady scent of the local flora. We rode horses arranged for us by our hosts. We canoed (there was a canoe moored on the river and we were free to use it) in the evenings or had dinner and drank wine on the terrace and watched the sun go down....simple pleasures. The house lit up and viewed from the river at night, is beautiful.
We enjoyed the local area, visited Coimbra, Porto and some smaller towns; we spent a day on the coast around an hour away....quiet beaches and bustling towns...delightful...but always we couldn't wait to get back to our hideaway in the mountains and the beauty and tranquility waiting for us there. Our week (not long enough!) at Casa da Roda, slowly peeled away the strains and stresses of every day life, layer by layer, leaving us truly relaxed, refreshed and ready to enter once more into the fray....

Quite a thrill on arrival as I knew nothing about Roda before I arrived.
Such a beautiful setting and so peaceful. I have enjoyed every minute of the holiday here.
Weather too hot sometimes but the pool was perfect for cooling down.
Lovely, restful area of Portugal, visiting some very interesting towns this week.
Thank you Geoff and Lin for a memorable holiday.

This was our fifth visit to Casa da Roda and without
doubt it gets better every time. The villa is superb with everything you
could need for a relaxing holiday. The owners Lin and Geoff are
nearby if you should need them and are a font of knowledge about the local area
with where to go, where to eat and what to see. Although living near to
the villa, you can't see them and they are not obtrusive at all.
The views from the
balcony are to die for and there is nothing better than eating meals alfresco
looking at the lake or relaxing in the swimming pool. The local
area is not 'touristy' and if it is that sort of holiday you want, go

We have had two wonderful and relaxing weeks.
The villa was great and with the welcome pack of food and wine we felt more than welcome.
We’ve made some trips to Coimbra, Gois and the coast but most of
the time we’ve enjoyed staying at the villa with the beautiful lake
Our two boys enjoyed the swimming pool very much but also fishing by the lake and rowing in the boat.
Thanks Geoff and Linda for your hospitality – you’ve made it a great holiday!

What a view! - What a house! – Beautiful
Such a lovingly crafted house and surroundings – the website doesn’t do it justice.
We had a bit of a shock when we got here – it was overcast
weather but fine, then within 24 hours the temperature soared to 104F.
Given that we’d just left the UK which was going through a bout of rain
going on biblical proportions, the heat took a bit of getting used to –
but the house was pretty cool and the pool was fab.
A couple of good trips out – Bucaco forest/Luso is lovely. Gois
was pretty but even better was the nearby Schist village of Aigra Nova -
it is tiny but so beautiful – the road up is fairly hair raising
(especially if you meet a massive truck of logs on a hair pin bend!)
Finally, on our last day Bobi Dog took us for a walk – so now all is well in the world!

Viele schöne eindrücke vom mittleren Portugal
Sehr nette menschen
Many beautiful impressions from the central Portugal
Very nice people
Beautiful city (Coimbra)
The stay was very relaxing and we say, Linda and Geoffrey: “until we meet again”

Our main criteria for a holiday this year was to find somewhere offering
peace and relaxation where we could re-charge our batteries and recover
from our too busy UK lifestyle. As soon as we arrived at this
comfortable, well-equipped villa we knew we had made the right choice.
The views of the lake are stunning and the availability of the rowing
boat a real added bonus. The villa is surrounded by forests of pine and
eucalyptus which smell wonderful. The salt water swimming pool is much
more refreshing than the chlorine variety and less painful on the eyes.
Linda kindly arranged a racing bicycle for our use and this was here
when we arrived. Cycling in the early morning is best, before it gets
too hot. The roads are quiet but a bit hilly – although nothing so
serious that you need to stand up on the pedals.
The villa is so good that we’ve not felt the need to go out much, with
our only trips being to Gois (good restaurant), Coimbra (recommend the
Jardim Manga restaurant to rear of church in main shopping area) and
Lousa (a trip to the castle and chapels is a must).
We hope to return one day and will certainly recommend the villa to family and friends.
All now feel thoroughly refreshed – time to get back on the merry-go-round!

A fantastic relaxation holiday, whether it is doing nothing around the pool, rowing on the lake or exploring the nearby towns.
The Jardim Manga restaurant in Coimbra does superb port, sardines and
chicken. The staff are very patient with people who are not great at
speaking Portuguese and will do their best to help you wherever you may
Sitting reading a book on the upstairs balcony is a great thing to do,
because if you look at and cross the river you experience a fantastic
view of the nearby forests.
Thanks again Linda and Geoff for giving us this holiday.

I really enjoyed playing in the pool and games like volley ball with a
badminton net and trying to bat the ball when you jump in.
I also enjoyed swimming in the lake and rowing the boat. The
restaurants serve great food and a lot of the staff speak English.
There are lots of fun things to do here and lots of exciting places to visit.

This is the fourth holiday we’ve had at Casa da Roda and, like the previous three, it has been perfect.
We never tire of the amazing views from the balcony. The weather was glorious and the pool was perfect for cooling off.
Bobi Dog, as always was great company on our walks and it was lovely to meet Cleo who joins us on our walks too.
Becky and Darren had a lovely time with the canoe on the lake and we all enjoyed swimming in the lake.
Thanks Lin and Geoff, Bobi and Cleo for a superb holiday. It’s really becoming our second home.
Mary, Barry, Becky & Darren
Thank you very much for everything

Translation from Russian:
As soon as we'd come in this house we felt its charm and warmth.
In unknown for us country we felt ourselves like at home. It was in everything: in affability of hostess Linda, in cleanness, in melody of the bell, and especially in welcome package of food for the first day (it had been already late and we had no time to go to the supermarket).
Unlimited vastness of panorama and restful views increased that
feeling. Hadn't seen everything in real (as we had booked the villa
through the Internet), it was impossible to choose better!!
Rima Friedler and Friends
The villa was great. Lovely aspect, wonderful views.
Sadly the weather was unusual but that meant we could do some walking in less than typical heat.
We visited the mountain (Schist) villages above Gois and Lousa.
We enjoyed the rowing boat and laying by the pool.
Thank you so much for your advice and ideas. We appreciate your
patience and willingness to be so helpful. Also your ideas for walks
You have a lovely place here.
Caroline and Roger Cowe
Villa was fantastic, views amazing
Peace and Quiet!
Perfect setting for the perfect weekend - just wished we were here for longer
We will be back!
Louise, Gary, Justine and Nigel
We first visited in September 2009 with our friends and
loved it so much we chose it for our family holiday with a 15 year old,
a 7 year old and a 1 year old.
They have all loved it here. Swimming, relaxing and adventures
to name but a few of our pastimes – we all could have stayed here
The villa is so well equipped and in such a wonderful position in a beautiful part of Portugal. Love it more than my real home!
It speaks for itself that we have re-booked to come back with our friends in September
Well done Linda for making a true home from home welcome
Louise, Gary, Lara, Harvey and Flo
It was lovely to be met by Linda despite the very late hour and the beer and wine in the welcome pack was very welcome indeed!
Waking to the fabulous view set the tone for the week – what a fabulous setting and a beautiful part of the world.
We wish we could have stayed longer so we could have spent more time relaxing in the wonderful villa.
There was so much to see and do! –
Figueira da Foz – wow! Wonderful large beach and some great fish for lunch
Gois – lovely food in the local café and peaceful relaxation by the river
Serra da Estrella – the Star Mountains – highlight of the week – a long, beautiful drive, stunning views and the reward of yummy cheese afterwards.
Conimbriga – a long tortuous journey thanks to our silly satnav but worth the trip – our 5 year old loved it!
We also visited friends north of Oliveira do Hospital an equally beautiful part of the Beiras.
Wonderful weather for this time of the year – much appreciated. The bag
of slippers also much appreciated as was the lift back from the village
when we left the key indoors!
Thank you so much for an introduction to Central Portugal – we loved it and are sure to return
Kerry, Alistair, Marnie and Mairin MacAulay
We have enjoyed our stay here so much. The
views are amazing and the place is peaceful. The villa is lovely and
everything we wanted was at hand. Thanks to Linda and Geoff for a
lovely welcome and for all their help during our stay.
Thanks to Bobi for taking us walkies and for being so loving and entertaining - such a special dog.
We love the area and have toured around in between house hunting
and it was good returning each day to such a wonderful place - we truly
had to tear ourselves away!
Thanks again Geoff and Linda for making our stay here so perfect.
We will be back!
Cathy & Richard
The house is beautiful with excellent finish and detail. It is
clear that Geoff has put a great deal of love and care into the building
Laura and Eleanor were in the pool at every available moment and
we all enjoyed the river and the rowing boat. It was great to be able
to walk down through the woods and walk or run down the tracks.
The wildlife - lizards, kites, hoopoes, swallow tails, butterflies and huge beetles provided much entertainment.
Arganil is a lovely little town. We enjoyed the market and had
great meals at the Grelha Restaurant. Bacalhau a Bras is particularly
Coimbra was stately and elegant. The Se Velha (Cathedral) is
beautiful and the old town was fun. Viseu was similar but rougher - in a
good way. We also enjoyed the river beaches in Gois and Vila Nova da
The forest walks in Bucaco are a delight. The walk up through
the terracotta stations of the cross to the Cruz Alto is well worth
doing - take a guide book as there is no map.
Linda and Geoff are friendly and helpful without being obtrusive
and clearly enjoy their business and get pleasure out of other people's
appreciation of the house and environs. The welcome pack is a great
bonus, particularly the wine and beer!
Peter, Therese, Laura and Eleanor
So here’s the plan … we leave Geoffrey (who built this villa)
toiling away building 2 extensions to our home in Maldon, Essex, with
his builder friends and associated dust, noise, nuisance, etc., and we
came here to enjoy the company of his wife and the wonderful peace,
quiet and sunshine of their corner of paradise – sounds like a deal to
Thank you both for letting us share your secret and unfortunately “more more into the fray”
Best tip for a meal in Arganil is Xisto – lovely service and the best food we have yet had in Portugal
Simon and B
We leave today after a fabulous week. What a peaceful and serene place.
The river view is a beautiful start to the day (and middle and end!).
The boys had great fun in the rowing boat even if there were a few sore
The wildlife is abundant - red kites circling overhead, jays
hopping from tree to tree, lizards and butterflies, a daring rescue of
the biggest stag beetle from the pool, plenty of bats around the street
light and a particularly vocal owl one evening.
We were going to go to Lisbon but decided there was enough to see
and do locally (sorry Linda - after all your research on our behalf)
but we had great trips to Coimbra, Conimbriga (amazing roman ruins) and
Figueira da Foz. The walk through Bucaco is beautiful but not well sign
posted and is further than you think but well worth the effort. Ate in
most nights but had a great meal in Arganil at Xisto and Figueira da
Foz at Casarola Dois (cards in the villa).
Thanks to Linda and Geoff for their warm welcome. We wish we'd booked 2 weeks
Derrick, Chris, James and Ben Towell
Your place should be called "Villa of the Enchanted Forest". The
moments we spent here are unforgettable. Thank you Linda and Geoff for
letting it happen.

Gracias Linda. Hasta Pronto

We can only repeat what everyone else has said -
that this is the most beautiful place to spend two weeks. We will
leave tomorrow feeling totally relaxed, a bit sad to be going but
looking forward to our next visit!
Everything about the house has been perfect, especially the
welcome pack of food and wine which meant we didn't have to shop
We have enjoyed some trips out, but mostly it has been a pleasure
to walk by the lake, swim, sit and look at the view from one of the
numerous vantage points provided. It has also been a pleasure to have
our evening chats with Lin and Geoff (not forgetting Bobi!)
Thank you for a great holiday
Jane, Graham and James Bentham
2 weeks was too short to discover all the beauty of this area.
All the good that has been written already about the house is really
true. We enjoyed the visits to Porto, Coimbra, Bucaco, Aveiro,
Conimbriga, the Serra da Estrella, Figueira da Foz (beach) but also the
river walk to Sarnadela, the excellent and very cheap beer in the local
bar and the excellent food in restaurant A Grelha in Arganil.
We had a wonderful time in a wonderful place but unfortunately “home sweet home” is our destiny and destination.
Frank, Hilde, Alexander, Sofie and Annick
Thank you Linda for the nice welcome.
We had a very relaxing time with early morning walks around the lake …
where our two teenagers kept up their running routine. They appreciated
not having to journey in the car to find a running track. .
We loved looking out at the view, at the red kites and butterflies. We
managed trips out to Coimbra, Figueira da Foz and Viseu… and had the
pool to look forward to on our return. A lovely location and house. I
am sure we will return. .
Jane, Martin, Kevin and Iris.
What a beautiful place to spend your holiday
This is THE place to chill. We enjoyed the nature, the villa, the pool,
the villages like Piodao, Gois, Arganil and the city of Coimbra, the
lake, the boat, the welcome pack, etc
We will tell our friends about this little paradise.
Norbert, Isobelle, Leo and Anna
We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house and in this great location.
Thanks Linda for making us feel welcome and looked after
We visited Piodao, Coimbra, Penacova, Lousa, Arganil, Tabua and went horse riding in Midoes with Liesje
Lieve, Hermon, Peter
We had a lovely relaxing week. On the one cloudy/wet day we went
off to Coimbra which is a “must see” and then did Conimbriga which is
worth the trip.
Lousa was surprisingly interesting – its an old market town with fancy
old houses from its olden days paper industry money, no doubt. Don’t
miss the castle, hermitage and open air river pass beach – they are all
together and worth visiting whatever your interests
What I loved best was the boat – we went out on the boat to the river
beach. It was lovely that we could paddle out on a nice sunny day and
row in the nice cool air
The pool was lovely and refreshing. I loved it. Coimbra is very fun and exciting – I liked the culture and statues
What a wonderful place – not like the Algarve at all! – thank goodness
We’ve had a wonderful time recharging our batteries thanks to the incredible views and delicious food
Ana, James, Sam, William and Ella Ward
Thank you Linda for that little paradise.
For the other guests - if you go to Luso don't forget an empty bottle (not like us) for the famous water.
There is a cute little garden with games for the little children close to the theater in Arganil.
Patrick, Patricia and Lucie
Here we are for the second time!
As in 2007, every day in Casa da Roda was plenty of joy and quiet moments during our 2 week stay.
From the seaside (Praia de Guiaios - not far from Figueira da Foz
but more quiet) to the mountains (Piodao), it reminds us that Portugal
is a great country where we can come back again and again.
Thanks to Linda and Geoff -your hospitality will be known by our friends in France!
Patrick, Patricia and Lucie

Great week, great hosts, very helpful with advice for excusions
Castle walk at Lousa – bit tricky to find the castle – once there look for signboard across the road – great short walk
Bucaco - go to Luso tourist office first to get map of property and magnificent gardens
Drive to Piodao – is mainly for tourists but great villages and scenery along the way. We came in on mountain road and left Piodao down the valley road – stunning drive

Just what we needed after a very busy 3 weeks.
What a wonderful and restful place this is. The welcome pack was so very “welcoming”!
After eating out for 3 weeks we cooked at home every night which was great
Our drives to the Torre, Bucaco, Piodao were very interesting
Sue, Mike, Judy and Joy
It was a very quiet and relaxing Christmas and New Year here. We enjoyed the house and especially the fireplace.
Its very nice to walk around here - we found a way long the lake to Maladao where the next bridge is located.
Coimbra is definitely a city to visit - also Tomar in the south.
The Serra da Estrella is very nice. We had a nice trip to the forest
at Bucaco with the old palace
So, its not so easy to be lazy here because there is so much to do.
But the best, we think are the walks near the house then sit in front of the fire and relax.
We'll think of it when we are back in Germany with temperatures minus 10 degrees and a lot of snow!!
Mike and Judith
We have had a great time at Casa da Roda. The villa met all our expectations and more! The gates and fences were very
useful for helping prevent our 20 month old getting into any more mischief than normal. The pool was great.
There were plenty of shady spots around the villa to enjoy the scenery.....
Alison Bailey Smith and family
Firstly - many thanks to Linda for being so welcoming and helpful (and unobtrusive).
Secondly - for cool forest walks - Lousa with its miniature castle and pools and Bucaco Forest with wonderful views.
Had a superb week amidst peaceful spectacular scenery and it is a shame to be leaving.
Lastly, our son thanks Bobi for the "guided walks" and the pine cone collecting.

- Tanguy (6 years old) says - "Happiness is in this house".
Tanguy 6 years, Tiago and Gaspard 3 years
Thanks a lot Linda

Congratulations to Geoff and Linda on creating something rather special.
We have loved the accommodation and found plenty to do in and around
the local area, and further afield. One of the best recommendations
that we could make to our
friends would be to try this place out. We managed to keep two teenage
kids occupied throughout the entire week, and that's some achievement.
I had a great time here swimming and sunbathing by the pool. The
walks down to the lake were lovely. Thank you for my tour Bobi. Thank
you very much for the stay it was brilliant!
Peter, Lorraine, Matthew & Hannah
Thanks for a great week - it was all perfect for us! The
children had great fun in the pool - as did the adults! All in all a
very relaxing holiday - thank you.
The Lander Family
We had a fantastic week - couldn't have asked for more. We spent many
late nights on the upper level which was a great way to relax after the
lovely meals we ate in Arganil.
A very special thanks to Bobi who was the perfect guide. Going
on walks with him made the experience more enjoyable and we thank him
for his patience and company.
Thanks to Geoff and Linda for providing us with the perfect setting for a much needed holiday.
Pat and Vik
Globetrotters as we are, we were a bit sceptical about spending the full two weeks in the same place ....
Silly us! The two weeks are over now, and we regret we have to
go. The house was perfect for our family - we enjoyed the walks along
the lake, the drives in the very scenic area, and above all, the
fabulous view from the verandah. We've taken lots and lots of pictures -
hope they'll help us to keep this holiday in our hearts for the years
to come. Thank you Linda, Geoff and Bobi for a wonderful holiday.
Jannech, Isabel and Oscar (21 months)
A very lovely villa in a tranquil setting. It was very easy to lose track of time except for the distant chimes.
We had a very enjoyable time and will be recommending it to friends and family.
The Padda family
A lovely villa, good views, tranquil and great walks. Nice towns -
Arganil, Coja, Gois. Many rivers, a very enjoyable time had by all -
friendly and will return again.
A truly beautiful place - even in February. Hope to return many times.
A lovely villa, had some nice walks and rowing on the river was
fun! Shame about the weather but the stay has still been nice. Really
comfy beds as well! Enjoyed the steam box looking over at the view.
A really enjoyable time. Thanks.
A lovely setting for the villa, nice and relaxing break. Could
have done with being a bit warmer but that didn’t detract too much from
the enjoyable walks and ride outs.
Thanks for a nice relaxing time in a well appointed villa.
Steve & Helen Johnson
A beautiful setting with stunning views we couldn’t grow tired of.
Despite the rain we had a lovely time – an excellent heating system!
We go home much rested and with all shoes and slippers accounted for! Thanks to the gorgeous Bobi for his exuberant company.
Jo, Katie & Hazel
Thanks for the brilliant holiday!
The villa was superb, the welcome pack was excellent after a long day travelling.
Thanks Linda and Geoff for the warm welcome and help us sort
golf, riding and Lisbon trips. Our son enjoyed using the boat. We
couldn’t have asked for more.
Brilliant weather and lots to do.
Special thanks to Bobi for a lovely walk.
Wish we had another week!
PS. Bobi you can keep the socks

Thank you for giving us a peaceful, restful, memorable holiday.
The house itself was comfortable and had everything we needed.
The store cupboard is a very helpful addition to the usual
The setting is fantastic, sitting on the balcony overlooking the
lake is entertainment in itself, especially watching the 'kites' (red
kites) swooping around in the sky. It was so nice to step outside in the
mornings and smell the eucalyptus trees.
We had some rain during our stay which was also quite soothing in
its own way but it meant we had some good days out too. I would
recommend a visit to Coimbra which has a huge shopping centre where you
can have lunch and sit on the open air decking looking down over the
river and the old town.
We also went to Figueira da Foz where we had wonderful sardines
at what must be the busiest restaurant in town. There is also an indoor
market that sells fresh meat, fish and veg. I bought a large bunch of
flowers for about £1.
The best day we had out was thanks to Matt (a friend of Lin and
Geoff) showing us the villages around Gois which gave us a feel for the
'real' Portugal and the lovely people. I would certainly recommend
future guests to go to some of the small places and have a coffee in the
bars that are usually near the churches.
I could go on ........!!
Finally special thanks to Lin and Geoff for the warm welcome, unobtrusive presence, great chats and hospitality.
We would love to visit again. Best wishes
Lorraine and Steve Gray(Liverpool)
We’ve had the most relaxing week, stunning
views, beautiful villa (the photos on the website don’t do the villa or
the views justice). As we were here for a rest we didn’t do many walks –
mainly sat by the pool but a nice trip and near is a little village
called Piodao. Lovely drive through the mountains bringing you to a
little slate village.
Linda, thanks for a great villa!
Alison & Clive Eyre
We found Casa da Roda on the internet but at the time we never imagined
it would be such a lovely place. Quiet and peaceful. It was all we
needed the last week. The beautiful weather was a “present”.
Thanks for a wonderful 7 days.
Gerry, Hans, Marian & Koen
Have just packed up, ready to move on…
But sit and ponder over the week just gone
It’s hard to describe in just a few words,
That breathtaking silence – apart from the birds
That magnificent view you can look at for hours
And never get bored of but wish it was yours!
We can honestly say, hands on heart
Thank you Linda and Geoff for allowing us to share part
Of your beautiful paradise, giving us the chance
To relax and forget for a while our lives in France!
Thanks again for a lovely, relaxing week
We will recommend Casa da Roda to everyone
Debbie, Nigel, Eloise, Lucie & Olivia Bradbury

Had a perfect week. We all enjoyed the peace and quiet.
Beautiful views, lovely setting. The house is lovely, open spaced and
cool. The welcome pack was a great start. Would recommend friends and
family to come as we were made very welcome.
Thanks for everything.
Best wishes to you both and Bobi
Robert, Christine and Bert
We appreciated the rich flavour of the forest at 8am while sitting in
the sun on the blue couch outside. Afterwards, breakfast with fresh
bread from Argus café (Arganil). And then, lazy time at the pool or
some cultural excursions:
Conimbriga (Roman ruins)
Coimbra (Jardim Botanica is nice; library is expensive for 10 mins)
Alco Baca (one of my favourites)
Batalha (one of my favourites)
Porto (nice things to see; did not like old town though)
Fraga da Pena waterfall
Fig da Foz
…. We enjoyed the local scenery… the bar at Sarnadela, the town
square in Arganil, the boat trips upon the river (rowing boat belonging
to Casa da Roda) and the BBQs
Thanks to Geoff and Linda for being there only when we asked for.

Thanks to Linda for a lovely holiday. We enjoyed boating and
swimming in the lake. It is a beautiful house in magical surroundings.
We look forward to our return.

Thank you Linda for a very enjoyable holiday. Can't wait to

two journeys made into the Serras was very worthwhile. Am brown and

We have had a lovely holiday here. Thank you so much! A perfect
combination of riding, walking and relaxing. The day trip to Bucaco and
Caramulo was well worth it. The meal in the hotel at Bucaco was a
delightful bonus and even I enjoyed the motor museum at Caramulo.
Thanks for the walks Bobi!! Bobi will show you around all the tracks here. Lots of fun.
Thanks for the breakfasts Linda - and lovely evening meal.
Cheers from Amy and Matt
Casa da Roda more than met our expectations!
The website cannot do the place justice as you can't hear the
peace and quiet you experience there - perfect for meditating! The
house has everything you could ask with a heavenly view.
We had intended to have a much needed relaxing holiday but there is so much to see in the area we couldn't resist exploring.
Our highlights were Bucaco - wonderful walks through the woods
surrounding a spectacular castle. The castle is now an hotel and the
rates were quite reasonable - think we'll stay a night or two next time.
The drive through the mountains to Torre and Covilha to Belmonte is
worth doing and Belmonte itself is worth exploring.
Thank you Linda and Geoff for being such ideal hosts - there when
we needed you but never obtrusive. We hope to book Casa da Roda again
in the near future.
Mr and Mrs L Scarth
Many thanks for the opportunity to stay in your
wonderful villa... we had a great time. Thanks again for all your help
with the fishing info. We managed to get our Licenca de Pesca in
Arganil and spent our last day fishing.
Henry Orsler and Friends
The last day of our second holiday at Casa da Roda. We are all sorry to leave.
Everybody has had a wonderful time. My morning cup of tea won't
be the same without the stunning view from the balcony. I look forward
to our next visit, for the scenery and to meet up with you both again.

What a beautiful place! We just loved the fantastic views, relaxing surroundings and accommodation.
The river is so tranquil, we had a great trip up the river in the
rowing boat … even our 7 month old baby enjoyed it. Loved lazing by
the pool and sitting in the Jacuzzi.
Great holiday and feel fully refreshed and relaxed ready to go back to the "big smoke".
Peter, Izzy and Alanna
Sadly departing from Casa da Roda this morning but looking forward to Sintra and further travels.
Will miss the view here and wonderful casa that Geoff and Linda built, often hauling all the materials themselves.
Wonderful villa - often wished our children were here to enjoy it too.
Great trips to Porto, Fraga da Pena, Coimbra and Fajao and
Benfeita. Great meal at Quinta da Geia in Aldeia das Dez as well as in
Fajao and in Arganil at O Manjar.
Thanks for the hospitality
Crystle and John Mazurek
We were here from 19 July until 2 August 2008 and our stay was most pleasant.
Bobi was a brilliant tour guide and me and/or my family regularly
walked around the "Bobi circuit". The pool provided fantastic
relaxation in the evenings and often in the mornings too. The verandah
was nice and we ate lunch, breakfast and tea outside every day. I am
interested in birds of prey and we spotted a red kite.
I am writing this on the veranda in mid afternoon on 1 August 2008.
We have had a lovely relaxing two weeks holiday.
Thanks to Linda and Geoff for such a clean, comfortable and well
equipped house and for being on hand for help and advice.
The location is great especially the view from the verandah. The welcome pack and store cupboard are a great idea!
Some suggestions for things to do:
River beaches are child friendly with a nice café by the river
River beach by the castle is more rocky and has a deep pool for diving. Walk up past the restaurant (closed Mondays) and follow the blue markings on the rocks and you come to a schist village partially restored. The walk is steep in places but the views are great
River beach here but not as good as Gois.
Mondego River Canoeing
A good trip from Penacova to the outskirts of Coimbra. We did it with Transerrano (see tourist leaflets in the villa - they speak English with an office in Gois) and it was very well organised and we got a lift back to our car at the end.
Walk round the lake with Bobi - he's a great guide!
For a good value lunch try the prata do dia at the Café Bar
Fontes just off the square in Arganil but be prepared to order in
We are sad to be going home tomorrow

Had a fantastic holiday, our time spent here has been relaxing and enjoyable
Bobi is indeed a little rascal and finds it his mission to lick
my face before he disappears into the wilderness. But of course he is a
wonderful and beautiful dog.
Thanks for all the DVDs - Abbie and I discovered some new favourites
And your house is fantastic - I wish I could live in it longer
Thanks for the horse riding tip - Sandra and Steve were great - and the horses of course!
Thanks for everything
You know you're having a relaxing holiday when you literally lose track of time and don't even know the date!
Nature on the doorstep, butterflies, red kites and definitely
something big down in the water, causing big ripples when it briefly
surfaces! Just having the time to watch was great!
Trips out to Coimbra, the Roman ruins at Conimbriga and the Bucaco forest were enjoyable and not too far away.
Sitting enjoying a meal in the café just off the square in
Arganil and then listening to a great jazz band playing until late into
the night was great on our last evening.
The house has everything you need with those little extra
touches - robes, store cupboard, welcome pack - to take it a notch above
the rest, Plus, of course, two lovely hosts!
Casa da Roda has pleased two parents and two teenage girls.
Marilyn, & John Wrightson
This was a party of 6. Dimitris and Myrto were also here 4 years ago so coming back for a second time was a dream come true.
Only this time they brought along 4 more friends who will be dreaming for a come back!
Everything was just perfect!
We'll be back …..
Dimitris, Myrto, Alexandra, Irini, Nikos, Sotitis
Firstly, on arrival we saw the villa and the view and were just
awestruck - what a view, what a setting, everything about it was
We have just spent two weeks here with two 17 year olds and a 12
year old and the time has flown. One regret, yes, we wish it could have
been three weeks.
Thanks to Linda for some great directions and suggestions for
days out and restaurants. Coimbra really is a special place to visit
and Tijoanna restaurant in Arganil is a fantastic place to eat.
Congratulations to both Linda and Geoff for making us feel very
welcome and for creating a most tranquil and relaxing location. This
really is THE place to chill!
Now the problem - do we keep this little bit of heaven to ourselves or do we tell our friends how really nice it is?!!
Finally, one cannot leave without mentioning Bobi who, if
allowed, would I believe have been a constant companion every day. What
a friendly, loving dog like none we have ever seen before, or likely to
Once again thank you to Linda and Geoff
